The HR Manager designs, plans, and implements human resources programs for the manufacturing facilities in Brazil, including labor relations programs, staffing, compensation, benefits, employee relations, training, and health and safety. The HR Manager will ensure positive labor-management relations. Leads grievance procedures including arbitrations and assists all levels of management on labor matters.

The HR Manager will ensure positive labor-management relations. Leads grievance procedures including arbitrations and assists all levels of management on labor matters.
Provide HR support to various locations.
Develop and follow up on the execution of an HR strategic plan which would include the implementation and alignment with the Global HR strategy.
Provide oversight, supervision, and approval of payroll.
Collaborate with management on staffing issues, including recruitment, merit/promotions, and employee relations.
Provide oversight of new hire, merit, promotional, and termination procedures.
Promote internal and external compensation competitiveness.
Assure compliance with tax and contractual obligations.
Play an active role to assist in efforts to update and maintain HCMS initiatives in support of business strategy.
Consult with and advise leadership to ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures and legal regulations.
Provide recommendations in areas such as talent acquisition and management, performance and career management, and work force planning.
Coach team in HR good practices and leadership matters.
Recommend and adhere to Company/HR policies for all locations.
Play a leading role in the performance development plan for all the staff.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree in a business related field is required. PHR or SPHR certification is preferred.

5-7 years of general Human Resources experience in a related manufacturing/ operations environment with increasing management responsibilities.
Experience with managing union and labor relations.
